In early morning you will be picked up from hotel reception by your driver. This excursion heads south towards Tanzania, past a coconut palm plantation and up to Shimba Hills National Park. This National Park hosts the rare centime antelope, as well as many elephants, giraffes, buffalos and with some luck perhaps you will even see a leopard! At Rongo Mwangandi river is the possibility to make a 20-meter high trip up the Sheldrick Waterfall. You will enjoy lunch in very beautiful Shimba Hills Lodge. Enjoy a day in valleys and hills of this beautiful National Park. In afternoon you will be driven to Shimba Hills Lodge, an exclusive lodging area located in the midst of green forests. You will stay overnight here. From the lodge rooms is a fantastic view of a water hole in which you can observe animals.
After a delicious breakfast your journey will continue with a drive to Shimoni Peninsula and from there take a small water taxi, a Dhow, which is the traditional sailing boat of natives here. Next you will transfer and sail with a traditional sailor to Kisite Naval Park. Whilst on board, your comfort and well-being is well taken care of. Once in naval park, you can snorkel and experience the fascinating underwater world with marvelous color games of corals and watch sea turtles, giant mussels, rays and with some luck, perhaps also dolphins! At noon you will be brought ashore and greeted with a rich buffet of seafood. Afterwards, you can simply relax on the fine sand beach and enjoy the wonderful African sunshine. You will be transferred back to hotel in late afternoon.
